Myoko Suginohara in Niigata Prefecture is a great place for families and all level of skiers as 80 per cent of the ski area is targeted for children and beginner to intermediate winter sport enthusiasts.
Many of the slopes are long and wide with a maximum run distance of 8.5km.
The views from the top of the mountain are breathtaking and when the weather is good and the skies are clear, Mt. Fuji is visible from the special view point.
